Ol Pejeta
“Home of the World's Last Northern White Rhinos”
Ol Pejeta Conservancy spans 90,000 acres on the equator between Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Range, making it one of the most diverse and significant wildlife sanctuaries in East Africa. It is home to the world's last two remaining northern white rhinos — Najin and Fatu — under 24-hour armed protection, representing one of the most poignant conservation stories of our era. Beyond the rhinos, Ol Pejeta protects the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa, alongside significant populations of lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, and buffalo. The conservancy's chimpanzee sanctuary — the only one in Kenya — provides a permanent home for rescued chimps. Game drives here are intimate and exclusive, with few vehicles and exceptional guide quality. The landscape, framed by the distant snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya, is breathtaking in every season.
